十二歲，半懂不懂的年紀，留下三封信，感謝老師、祝福同學、還向心儀已久的男孩表白自己的情意；三封信，圖文並茂，信中貓咪開心到不行的笑臉，完全看不出女孩還沒長大，她，就要向世界說「拜拜」。

類似事件，晚近幾年一再發生。經濟情況低迷，大人無力負擔沉重的生活壓力，攜子女走上黃泉路；感情糾葛難解，大人之間的恩怨情仇，還是拿孩子當犧牲品。稚子何辜？台灣，難道是一個無法保護孩子的社會嗎？無法保護孩子的社會，能稱為文明社會嗎？

內政部長江宜樺承認，這個案例中，社工確有疏失。然而，孩子已經走了，承認疏失或道歉，都再也喚不回年輕的生命。她，十二歲的女孩，曾經那麼害怕的向學校求救；但是，沒有用。

離世的生命，再不知道痛苦。但是，想一想，當她向老師說出自己的害怕，到返家後看著母親寫遺書、買木炭的恐懼，甚至當她的母親燒炭時，她怎麼拿出自己的紙筆，畫下她的感謝、寫下她的情意，一筆一畫刻著她對同窗女孩們的眷戀；當恐懼化成平靜，她用紙上貓咪的笑臉，像世界告別，卻留給她的同窗好友們，此生再化解不了的遺憾。

身為老師、身為社工，或者，身為心中還有愛的平凡人，多一點點愛給周遭的孩子，有這麼困難嗎？不要把愛掛在嘴邊，請轉成行動，把愛給你身邊每一個孩子，保護他們，讓他們快樂的長大，這只是文明社會最低限度的要求啊。
